Upcoming Event: 14th Annual International Conference on Hoarding and Cluttering

The Mental Health Association of San Francisco and the Institute on Compulsive Hoarding and Cluttering are hosting the 14th ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HOARDING AND CLUTTERING on April 26 – 27, 2012 in Millbrae, CA.

This year’s theme is “Empowering Communities through Collaboration and Research.” One of the main speakers is Dr. Randy Frost, a leader in the study of hoarding and a widely published author.

Donation Opportunity – Sacramento Children’s Home Wish List

I was reading Inside East Sacramento and learned about the Sacramento Children’s Home Donation Wish List. If you’re getting organized, do you have any of these items to donate? What a great way to de-clutter your home and help a wonderful charity!

Donations are needed for the Junior League of San Joaquin County’s 56th “Twice is Nice” Rummage Sale on Saturday, March 3, at the San Joaquin County Fairgrounds. Among items needed are books, toys, collectibles, holiday, bicycles, furniture, quality clothing, electronics, tools, garden and nearly new from merchants. The tax deductible donations can be picked up and proceeds will benefit many charities and non profit organizations around the county.
